VAT on TinyTax Invoices and Subscription Fees

VAT on @AdamsWinter Invoices and Subscription Fees

@AdamsWinter is not currently VAT registered. This means:

  • No UK VAT is charged on subscription fees
  • The price shown on the pricing page is the total amount payable — there is nothing added on top
  • Our invoices do not show a VAT number or VAT line, because we are not registered
This applies to all customers regardless of your VAT status — UK businesses, overseas businesses, and companies treated as Non-Established Taxable Persons (NETPs) all pay the same price with no VAT to account for.

Do I Need to Account for Reverse Charge?

No. The reverse charge mechanism applies when a UK VAT-registered supplier charges VAT on services to a business customer outside the UK (or vice versa). Because @AdamsWinter is not VAT registered, there is no VAT on the transaction and no reverse charge obligation arises.

Can I Get a VAT Invoice?

Because @AdamsWinter is not VAT registered, we cannot issue a VAT invoice. The receipt you receive from our payment processor (Stripe) is the record of your payment.

If your accounting requires a supplier VAT number, you can note that @AdamsWinter is not VAT registered — this is the correct position to record.

Will This Change?

We expect to register for VAT as the business grows. If and when that happens, we will update our pricing page and invoice process accordingly. Existing customers will be notified before any change takes effect.

Common Questions

The price on your pricing page — is that ex-VAT or inc-VAT?

It is the total amount you pay. There is no VAT to add. What you see is what you are charged.

I need proof that you are not VAT registered — where can I find this?

You can verify our VAT registration status by searching for our company name on the HMRC VAT registration checker. If not found, the company is not VAT registered.
